Bread and chocolate (Peanut M&M’s, in particular) are two of my favorite things. Not a day goes by that I don’t indulge in one or the either – and in most cases both, but not necessarily together. So when I saw Take a Megabite post a recipe for peanut butter and chocolate swirl bread, I could not resist. Bread with the essence of chocolate and peanuts? Yes, please….
Brown Butter Pecan Cookie Granola
Some say everything is better with butter. I’d argue everything is better with brown butter. OK, well maybe not everything, but a lot of things (pasta, cake, cookies) are. This new cranola creation, inspired by the delicate and crisp pecan sandie, is no exception….
Roasted Vegetable and Wheat Berry Salad
It’s easy to fall into a cooking rut, especially when you’re short on time or have no energy. One way I like to keep my meals fresh is by experimenting with new ingredients, like coconut oil or chia seeds. It’s a good way to discover and try new recipes (whatever will I do with …?), experience new flavors, and expand your culinary repertoire….

It started when I made White on Rice Couple’s sriracha roasted cauliflower a few weeks ago and quickly blossomed after I made this unique and healthy twist on hummus. (My mom gifted me a whole head and so I had to figure out what to do with it.) I’m not a big hummus eater, but I could eat this dip by the spoonful. It’s light and nutty and not at all slimy like most bean dips….
Sesame-Spiced Turkey Meatballs with Chickpea Salad
There are days when I want to spend hours in the kitchen, recreating complicated, multi-step recipes. And then there are days, like this past Sunday, when I don’t want to cook but feel obligated to put food on the table. (After a delicious dinner at Pizzeria Delfina the night before, it was definitely an eat-in kind of evening.)…
